Minecraft School website by Marc Williams - email
I created this website to document the use of Minecraft in the Alfriston College Digital Technology curriculum 2011-2021.
This website was created in 2011 when there was no option for optimising the site for mobile. So if your viewing it on a mobile device then it might look a bit random with different font sizes etc.
Minecraft is a Virtual Reality game platform for Authentic, Collaborative & Cognitive learning experiences. Examples of Minecraft STEM learning are NZQA L1 Computer Programming assessment AS91883 & Chemistry. This website features Minecraft projects by learners from Alfriston College, Auckland, New Zealand.

GALLIPOLI MINECRAFT 2015
In 2013, a group of my Year 9+10 students recreated the school in Minecraft, we put a video of it on YouTube. The Auckland War Memorial Museum saw our video and invited us to collaborate on their ANZAC Gallipoli project. A group of my students created the Gallipoli Minecraft world for the Auckland Museum WWII centenary exhibition. aucklandmuseum.com/exhibitions/2015-gallipoli-in-minecraft/use-minecraft-to-learn-about-ww2
